Storage and Preparation Tips: Zucchin, Red Butter Leaf Lettuce, Easter Egg Radishes

Zucchini: Store zucchini in a plastic bag in the refrigerator crisper drawer four to five days and do not wash until just before you are ready to use it. At the first sign of wilting, use immediately.

Red Butter Leaf Lettuce: Store unwashed in a plastic bag in the refrigerator until you are ready to use. Butter lettuce will keep for 3 to 4 days. Great for salads and lettuce wraps.

Easter Egg Radishes: Remove the leaves and store separately from the roots. Store in the vegetable crisper of the refrigerator, wrapped in a damp cloth or a perforated plastic bag.
