For nearly four years now we’ve been relying on an online ordering and customer management system that is less than impressive. It’s gotten the job done – or, rather, it’s gotten us to where we are today – but it has always left a lot to be desired.
Today we began our transition to a new system and a new partnership with the folks at Farmigo. The Farmigo system was developed exclusively for farm-direct subscription programs like our own, with a user-friendly interface and enhanced features on the customer side as well as the administrative side. More of our time will be spent on improving the overall Terra Organics experience instead of manual data entry. You will have the ability to more fully customize orders, building a box from the ground up. It’s all very exciting.
We expect the entire process to take a month, with the majority of the work occurring behind the scenes over the next few weeks. There will likely be a relatively painless process at the end of the transition where we will have to enter new payment information for you, but we plan on offering a new prepayment discount at the same time as a way to lessen the burden.
