Tahoma CSA Update

By March 10, 2011Terra Organics News

Many thanks if you signed up for the Tahoma CSA or have already made a pre-payment on your Terra Organics account to help the farm with start-up expenses this spring.

If you missed last week’s email, we are now accepting sign-ups for Tahoma Farms CSA shares with a minimum $100 deposit.

Even if you don’t want the Tahoma CSA box, you can help us raise the cash we need to cover farm expenses over the next few months by making a payment today that will be applied to your account on June 1.

We have raised just over $6000 so far on our way to our goal of $30,000.  This is the cash deficit that the farm is expected to run between now and June 1, when the first crops will be ready for market through the CSA and all other Terra Organics boxes.

To help us reach this goal, we are offering an incentive for those that would like to pre-purchase produce coming from Tahoma Farms and Terra Organics.   We are offering a 5% credit for any deposits of $200 – $999, and a 10% credit for deposits of $1000 or more.  Again, we will collect these deposits now and then credit your account June 1.
