Storage & Preparation: Spinach, Bicolor Corn, Zucchini, Romaine Lettuce

  • Spinach should be dried and packed loosely in a cellophane or plastic bag and stored in the refrigerator crisper. If stored properly, it should last 3 or 4 days.  Before use, rinse well to remove any dirt or grit.
  • Bicolor Corn: Refrigerate corn with husks on for use as soon as possible or within 1-2 days.
  • Zucchini: Store in a plastic bag in vegetable drawer of the refrigerator.  Use within 2-3 days for best flavor and freshness.  Zucchini can be cooked or eaten raw.
  • Romaine Lettuce: Place in a sealable plastic bag and store in refrigerator crisper for 5-7 days.
