Red Chard: Store unwashed leaves in plastic bags in the crisper in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days.
- Garlic: Store unpeeled bulbs of garlic in an open container in a cool, dry place away from other foods. Do not refrigerate or freeze unpeeled garlic. Properly stored garlic can keep up to three months.
- Leeks: Leeks will exude an aroma that can be absorbed by other things in your refrigerator, so to store them before cooking, wrap in plastic wrap to contain the odor and moisture. Do not trim or wash before storing. Store in the vegetable drawer of your refrigerator.
